Having performed surgery since the 1980s and refractive procedures since 1989, he ranks among the most experienced laser refractive surgeons in the United States. A VISX Star Surgeon one of fewer than 100 nationwide he has helped advance LASIK and Custom Vue techniques, and he built his practice around closely tracking surgical outcomes so patients can feel confident in both the results and the care behind them.

Darrell Reisner

Ophthalmologist

Dr. Darrell Reisner is an ophthalmologist specializing in ophthalmic surgery, with a practice built on long-term relationships and the trust patients place in him with their vision. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, with a surgical practice centered on cataracts and refractive care. Regarded during residency as a promising ophthalmic surgeon, Dr. Reisner now applies over two decades of experience to glaucoma, general ophthalmology, and the surgical treatment of cataracts.

Shantara Propst

Ophthalmologist- (incoming; begins seeing patients 11/01/2026)

Shantara Propst, D.O., M.S., is an ophthalmologist and cataract and glaucoma surgeon. She earned a Master of Science in Medical Clinical Sciences at the University of South Florida, completed her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, and finished her ophthalmology residency at Howard University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Her clinical work centers on advanced cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and anterior segment disease, and her training is distinguished by first-author scholarship in the journal Ophthalmology and a sustained record of leadership in humanism and health equity.
